Jack Gives Back! Jack Schmitt Ford to Host Blood Drive with the American Red Cross February 26th

Jack Schmitt Ford will team with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at the dealership on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. 

We are encouraging all of our customers and staff to consider giving blood and to invite their family and friends that day. While the blood supply in the United States is somewhat stable today, there are a number of challenges threatening the supply including:

A declining number of donors.
Fewer young donors. 
Fewer school and business related blood drives since the pandemic. 
The many storms, wild fires and disasters that have occurred in recent years have increased the need and decreased donor turnout in those affected areas. 

Donating blood can help people with surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, traumatic injuries, and more. A single blood donation from one person can save the lives of up to three people. There is no substitute for human blood. The demand is expected to rise into the Spring and Summer months. 

Visit Jack Schmitt Ford on Wednesday February 26th for our American Red Cross Blood Drive. Donors will receive a free car wash at our Collinsville Ford location when they register at our showroom. 

In addition Jack Schmitt Ford will have snacks and prizes as well as a Food Truck on hand to serve our volunteers, customers, donors, and staff for an afternoon of fun and a great cause.
